We has been created to make it easier to connect people, create opportunities and grow careers. Every job ad posted on our site can be shared with friends and colleagues through facebook or by email. Advertisers can also offer referral rewards to increase the chance of job ads finding the right candidates.
Send job to a friend
This button appears alongside every job ad.
If you see a job that you think may be of interest to a friend or colleague, click on the button to send a personalised email to them which will include a link to the job ad. If the recipient is interested, they can take action accordingly.
Referring job ads is a great way to help your contacts find the right job.
Share jobs on facebook
This button appears alongside every job ad.
You can either share the job to your facebook friends or post the job to your mini-feed to get your friends help in getting the job.
Share jobs with facebook friends
If you see a job that you think may be of interest to your friends on facebook, click on the button and select ‘Send a Message’. This will allow you to send to your facebook friends and will include a link to the job ad. If they are interested, they can apply from the link.
Get facebook friends help to get the job
If you want your facebook friends help in getting a job that you have seen on our site, click on the button and select ‘Post to Profile’. This will allow you to include the job ad in your profile and include a message asking for help. Maybe someone has a contact in the organisation that might be useful. One of your friends might have worked at the company and has some good tips. Anything that might help you get the job you are after is worth finding out.
Your message will then appear in your mini-feed as illustrated below.
Referral rewards overview
Our advertisers can offer registered users on our site referral rewards or finders fees.
These are a way of rewarding a member for referring a friend or colleague to a job they have seen advertised on the site.
Why we have referral rewards
We strongly believes in the value of social networking. We believe, by leveraging your networks, you have the ability to recommend your friends to jobs that they might not be aware of.
This is great for them, great for you and great for the advertiser. Everyone wins with JOBReferral because this is a vehicle for getting talent into the best jobs even if they are not actively looking.
Referring for rewards
- An advertiser must register a job as having an applicable referral reward. This can take the form of goods or services or cold hard cash.
- If a job has a referral reward applicable, the following red button will appear alongside the ad:
When you click on this button, you will also be able to review the terms and conditions of the referral which will specify the reward and when it is payable etc.
- A member will decide to refer a friend or colleague etc. by using the referral button on the jobs page.
- The person who the job is referred to will receive an email including the referrer’s message and the job details.
- All referrals will be recorded on the members account.
- Should the person who receives the referral be successful in their application and be placed in the role, they need to advise the person who referred them the job.
- The referrer then contacts Us to collect their referral payment or goods and services.
Tracking your referrals
When you are logged in as a member, you will have access to a link on the left hand navigation ‘My Job Referrals’. This area will list all referrals made. You can keep track of them from there.
